THE THOUGHT IS BEYOND ME

Think about it, the infinite God, who created all things, and who has all to himself, all for himself, and all in himself, has given us all of himself. An unselfish God living in a selfish world, an infinite God loving finite creatures, an Holy Creator calling an unholy creation, to live and to be with him forever. The thought is beyond me.

And what other nations can say that they have a God who is so close to them as we do, that for any reason whatsoever we can call him and he will hear and answer, and that he has given us the privilege of walking in the light of his presence, sharing in his goodness and fellowship with his Holy Spirit. The thought is beyond me.

That the Almighty, All powerful, Self existing, All sufficient, All comprehensible, All magnificent Father would clothed his eternal word so that it would become flesh, and to identify Himself with us, to console us, comfort us and pour out His indescribable love into us, The thought is beyond me.

I mean, he calls the stars by name, he made the milky way, all the worlds were formed, fashioned and framed by him, he holds the dust of the earth in a basket, every sea, river and stream are in his hands, yes he even takes time to sit on the circle of the earth and stretches out the heavens like a curtain, He rides the clouds as chariots, causes water to stand up by the blast of his nostril. He shuts the mouths of lions, feeds every living thing, He clothes the flowers of the field, The thought is beyond me.

He knows every thought, He has full knowledge of every word we speak, He knows when we sit and when we rise, He knows all our weakness, all our strengths, all our abilities, He's everywhere all at once, knows everything all at once, hears every conversation all at once, He knows the joys, the pains, the sorrows, the trials, the tribulations, the sufferings, the difficulties, the health, the sickness of everyone all at once. The thought is beyond me.

You can't beat him, cheat him, or flee from him, you can't out do him, you can't confused him, and you most definitely cannot abuse him. He is the center piece of all humanity, the monument of all the nations, the peace of all the peoples, He is the ruler, King, Lord, master, Prince, judge, President, Governor, and everything in between, He is Righteous, Pure, Holy, Just, Loving, Compassionate, Gentle, Kind, He is Good, Excellent, Great, Awesome, Magnificent, Exalted, Brilliant, Breath taking, Exsufflicate, Outstanding, Spectacular, Amazing, and Epigrammatic. The thought is beyond me.

He promised to be a refuge, a fortress, a high tower of defense, a shield, a deliverer, a protector, a bulwark, a stronghold, He's given us His name, His life, His nature, His power, His blessings, His mind, His word, His wealth, His riches, His prosperity and His good success, He has bestowed upon us His wisdom, His knowledge, His understanding, He has given us His Redemption, Salvation, Justification, Sanctification, Forgiveness, He has sealed us healed us and adopted us. That we should be called the children of God, and that's what we are. The thought is beyond me.
