Pastor Jeremias Antonetty
In the book of Hebrews, God admonishes us to keep a lifestyle
that is pleasing to him in every way. The manner in which we live will
affect the way we give. God's way is holy and all he does is holy.
God also admonishes us to be free from the love of money,
which leads to all kinds of evil. The love of money and the love for things
in the world will only make us stray from the truth and from the right
path. The results will only be a faith that is shipwrecked.
If we remain in God's love then we will be possessed and
protected by his unfailing strength and be completely content with his
provisions. Abraham knew God's love would not fail him and that he would
make provision for him. Abraham recognized that the God who called him
was the same God who would uphold him.
God provides for Abraham
Gen 22:8
And Abraham said, "My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb
for a burnt offering." So the two of them went together. (NKJ)
It is on the basis of this love for all his creation, that
he makes the most absolute statement, a proclamation that cannot and will
not be altered. [I will never leave you nor forsake you].
God assured Joshua of his eternal love
Josh 1:5
"No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life;
as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake
you. (NKJ)
Do not trust in your own strength
I will not (NKJ)
Ps 44:6
For I will not trust in my bow, nor shall my sword save me. (NKJ)

In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
(NKJ)
God will not break his covenant of love
Ps 89:33-35
33 Nevertheless My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, nor
allow My faithfulness to fail.
34 My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out
of My lips.
35 Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David:
God does not forget his covenant of love and protection
Deut 4:31
31 `for the LORD your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you
nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore

"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them;
for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave

God's love makes us strong for his work
1 Chr 28:20
And David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage,
and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God-- my God-- will
be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished
all the work for the service of the house of the LORD. (NKJ)
God forsakes the unfaithful
2 Chr 15:2
And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: "Hear me, Asa, and
all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you while you are with Him. If
you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will
forsake you. (NKJ)
